What Qualifies as a Minor Pet Surgery?

Minor pet surgeries are non-emergency procedures that can be safely performed outside of a hospital or specialty surgical suite. Common mobile pet surgery services include:

  • Small mass removals (skin or subcutaneous)
  • Spay & Neuter
  • Wound cleaning and repair
  • Abscess treatment
  • Laceration repair
  • Minor biopsies
  • Suture or staple removal

Each surgical case is assessed individually to determine whether it is safe and appropriate for a mobile setting. For procedures requiring advanced equipment or specialist support, referrals can be provided to trusted local or regional veterinary hospitals.

Our Commitment to Safety, Skill & Compassion

Routt Home Vet is led by Dr. Cindi Hillemeyer, a licensed veterinarian with extensive clinical and surgical experience. Every procedure is performed with strict adherence to sterile technique, anesthesia protocols, and post-operative monitoring to ensure the highest standards of care and the best possible outcomes.
