About Routt Home Vet
The best care happens where your pet feels most at ease: at home. Learn how Routt Home Vet’s story, values, and personalized approach make a difference in the region.
A Veterinary Service Born from Compassion
Routt Home Vet was founded with a vision to transform how veterinary care is delivered. After years of experience in traditional veterinary clinics, Dr. Cindi Hillemeyer recognized a need for an approach that felt more personal, more flexible, and far less stressful — for both pets and their caregivers.
In-home veterinary care allows for longer visits, calmer environments, and the ability to truly meet each pet where they are, emotionally and physically. With a gentle bedside manner and thoughtful attention to detail, every appointment is approached with the intention of observing, listening to, and responding to what each pet needs most.
Today, Routt Home Vet offers a compassionate alternative for pet owners in search of wellness care, diagnostics, minor procedures, and dignified end-of-life support — all from the comfort of home.
